Wine Gift Guide for Wine Connoisseurs

Don't you hate shopping for that person who has everything? Gift buying shouldn't be so difficult. But, we have found that one type of gift is always well received...wine accessories!

Wine accessories make great gifts because they are a staple in most homes. Unless you HATE wine, a new corkscrew or fun wine glass always makes people smile. Plus, you can never have too many wine glasses, wine charms, or corkscrews.

What about a wine connoisseur? You know...the guy or gal who appreciates their wine, has all the tools for wine loving. Well, as the ultimate wine gift shop, A Bit of Wine offers a wide selection of wine accessories and gifts that will please every wine connoisseur.

Customers come to us looking for the perfect gift for their wine loving friends. So, to help those looking for a great wine gift for the wine connoisseur in your life, here are our favorite and most popular gifts for connoisseurs.

For the Wine Lover's Kitchen

1. Mendocino Trellis Wine Rack - Wine storage is important to a wine connoisseur. With this trellis style wine rack, a connoisseur's kitchen will be complete with a taste of the vineyard. This Mendocino holds 8 bottles of wine in an easy access and stylish way that will look great in any kitchen.

2. Metal Waiter Cork Holder - This guy is one of our new additions at A Bit of Wine. Every wine connoisseur has wine corks. Instead of throwing them away, the cork is a great way to remember your favorite events. Take the cork off the corkscrew and toss it in this adorable wine cork holder. Set him on any kitchen counter for a bit of wine character to a wine connoisseur's kitchen.

For the Wine Bar

3. Ravenscroft Crystal Wine Glasses - The creme de la creme of crystal wine ware, no wine connoisseur's collection is complete without a set of 4 wine glasses from Ravenscroft Crystal. This lead free crystal eliminates the impurities that are in most glassware. These impurities can affect the flavor profiles of fine wine. And there is no such thing as 'too many wine glasses'. These high quality luxury Ravenscroft Crystal wine glasses are a classic and elegant gift for every wine connoisseur.

4. Ravenscroft Crystal Vintner's Choice Wine Decanter - Like with the Ravenscroft Crystal wine glasses, a red wine decanter is a must-have wine accessory at a connoisseur's wine bar. We recommend the Ravenscroft Crystal Vintner's Choice decanter. With it's narrow neck and round bowl, this is a classic decanter with ball stopper.

With hundreds of shapes, styles, and sizes buying decanter can be overwhelming. Shop our decanters for more styles and colors.

For a Wine and Cheese Party

5.  Picnic Time Concavo Cutting Board - Do you know a wine connoisseur who loves entertaining friends and family? A cheese cutting board makes a great gift. This two-tone sleek design cutting board is a conversation starter. Complete with cheese tools and ceramic cheese markers, this cutting board serves a dual purpose for the next wine and cheese party. Prep your cheeses before the party, then use it as a beautiful serving tray while guests enjoy the party.

  1. These gift ideas are a perfect blend of quirky, witty and classy. You have gift designs ranging from the quirky and funny cork holder all the way to the very classy wine holder. These gifts will definitely "wow" any wine connoisseur. Although I'm not entirely sold on that tote for wine picnics as knives are dangerous even if they're inside the bag, especially if you accidentally leaned on the bag! Nevertheless, great gift ideas!
