Thinking About Joining a Monthly Wine Club?

Since we don't sell wine at A Bit of Wine, we often have people coming to us looking for wine suggestions. This is one reason we started our Tuesday Tastings. While these tasting notes are not solicited, they do follow one rule - drink what you like & enjoy what you drink. Often times there is no rhyme or reason to the wines we choose. They are just a bottle we were in the mood for drinking.

Another question customers ask us about is monthly wine memberships. We aren't opposed to them. They are very convenient for those of us who enjoy wine on a regular basis. The fact that 1, 2 or 12 bottles will show up every month can take the pressure off choosing what to drink on any particular evening.

Depending on the club and the variety of their selection, you can be quite limited in the wines you receive. I tend to enjoy the process of selecting a wine based  solely on my mood or a meal that I am planning.
